It’s Alcohol Awareness Month so let’s talk #responsibility

We’re rolling out April, which is Alcohol Awareness Month, with BIG news: The Century Council, which created Ask, Listen, Learn as one of its first underage drinking initiatives, is changing its name to the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility (FAAR)! Although this doesn’t directly affect Ask, Listen, Learn’s mission, it is a huge step is the efforts to fight underage drinking.

Kids – we challenge you to be confident in your decisions. Ward off the pressures of underage drinking by just saying ‘NO.’ There’s nothing you can’t accomplish if you resist negative pressures.

Parents – join the fight against underage drinking. Be informed when talking with your kids about why they should refrain from underage drinking. Keep an eye out for important materials coming out this month to educate you on how to most effectively and actively ignite a conversation about alcohol and its negative effect on a developing body and brain.

Be the difference in your kid’s life, help them make the right decision to be happy and healthy!
