2014 Success Means a Bright 2015 for Classroom Champions!
This past year, they involved the brilliant young minds of 1700 students in more than 60 schools! Who are we talking about? Why our great partner Classroom Champions, of course!
Classroom Champions recently came out with an accounting (their Report to Communities) of the 2013-2014 school year to provide insight into how they inspired thousands of kids around the world.
Their evaluation found that 100% of teachers said Classroom Champions improved their classroom culture and 91% of students said Classroom Champions helped them learn how to accomplish their goals. These numbers show the real impact of role models in the classroom that instill confidence and self-worth throughout the year.
Classroom Champions is able to make a positive impact by bringing Olympians, Paralympians and Games hopefuls into the classrooms of grades K through 8 using videos and live chats all school year long.
Classroom Champions partners with Ask, Listen, Learn: Kids and Alcohol Don’t Mix because we share the same mission of helping students recognize their potential, set goals and dream big. Classroom Champions was able to have one of their biggest years yet, reaching 4 different countries over the 2013-2014 school year!
In addition to helping encourage kids to avoid risky behavior and make smart decisions, this is an organization on the forefront of using technology to build relationships. We are proud to partner with an organization that has seen a potential for the growth in the education community and ran with the opportunity to put positive mentors in classrooms that need them the most.
