Middle School Teachers We Want You!
We are looking for 5th, 6th, 7th grade teachers (and their students) to participate in an important teacher and student assessment of the new Ask, Listen, Learn Brain Program. In appreciation of your time and completion of the assessment we are offering teachers a $200 Amazon gift card.
Teachers will administer seven different lessons designed to inform students about their brain, how it is affected by alcohol and how that affects each of them. Each lesson takes approximately 30 minutes.
Teachers will complete a short 5-minute online survey to provide feedback on each of the lessons after it has been presented to students.
Teachers will also administer a short pre-program questionnaire to students prior to teaching the first lesson to their class and a post-program questionnaire after teaching the seven program components.
The assessment will begin in September and can be completed anytime through November 30, 2017. The schedule and order of lessons are entirely up to each participating teacher.
