CADCA Forum 2020: Connecting with prevention specialists

When it comes to helping kids say “YES” to a healthy lifestyle and “NO” to underage drinking, it takes a village. Each year, the  Community Anti- Drug Coalition (CADCA) Forum brings together coalitions and partners to help advocate for kids of all ages, giving us all a platform to discuss trends in the prevention and health community.

For the third year in a row, we were proud to be part of these discussions and interactions. Over three days, we met with more than 300 prevention specialists, coalition members, students, and educators learning more about how we could meet their programming needs and informed them on how they could use Ask, Listen, Learn. It delighted us to find that so many people already use Ask, Listen, Learn as part of their prevention services—some of you even sang our token “kids and alcohol don’t mix” tagline as you approached our booth ♥️♥️. We were happy to share our resources, lesson plans, and materials with everyone there—t-shirts, brains, and tote bags too!

We enjoyed attending the conference and meeting with community leaders that help push the message of prevention forward every day. We are already looking forward to CADCA 2021!
