The Century Council has been proud to partner with and sponsor many groups and organizations around the country in our 20 years of existence.

We’ve enjoyed partnering with Girl Talk to inspire middle school girls to develop leadership skills, build self esteem and learn the importance of community service. Our financial support helps this mentoring program grow and potentially reach 12.6 million middle and high school girls around the world.

Girl Talk, founded by 15-year-old Haley Kilpatrick, is now is 42 states, as well as Canada, Australia and Kenya. Their 2010 National Leaders of the Year were honored with scholarships from the Bell Family Foundation and they just added a portal for all the chapters to communicate on the Girl Talk web site.

Girl Talk also hosted two week-long summer camps, Project Inside Out, with more than 140 middle school girls last year. It’s no wonder they were recently featured on The Today show and HLN!

Girl Talk’s programs have proven to raise young girls’ grades and encourage them to be more involved in their schools and communities. We are honored to support this organization having such a positive influence on healthy lifestyles and hope to show such passion in our own programs.
