Simone Biles helps us wrap up our month of #Responsibility
April has flown by. And what a great month we have had! Take a look at all the ways we observed Alcohol Responsibility Month:
- We teamed with Simone Biles and Attorneys General from across the US to encourage parents to talk to their kids about underage drinking.
- We launched our Alcohol Responsibility Month video for kids to help them learn how to make healthy decisions.
- We released a video for teachers about using the Ask, Listen, Learn resources in their classrooms.
- We teamed up with NBC’s Education Nation Parent Toolkit to discuss the importance of conversations with your kids about alcohol
And finally, we met up again with Simone Biles on Capitol Hill to celebrate Take our Daughters and Sons to Work Day and chat with even more kids and parents about living a healthy lifestyle
We can barely believe that Alcohol Responsibility Month is coming to an end, but for educators and parents everywhere, the work is not done. Underage drinking is down and conversations are up. Keep having those talks with the tweens in your life. What you say matters and believe it or not, they are listening and learning.
Thank you for such a great four weeks. We will continue with our mission of helping kids say YES to a healthy lifestyle and NO to underage drinking. Interested in joining us? We’re working on recruiting middle school teachers to participate in a formal assessment of Ask, Listen, Learn this fall – and earn $200! Stay tuned for more information!
Stay tuned for our PSA coming soon. Until next time, Simone, THANK YOU!
