Heather Mitts

Professional Soccer Player

Heather Mitts is a star on the U.S. Woman’s National Team and also currently plays for the Atlanta Beat of the WPS. A great leader, Heather has won a NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship with the Florida Gators as well as two Olympic gold medals in the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics.

Heather is a current member of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team and also plays for the Atlanta Beat of the Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) league. Mitts is a two-time Olympic gold-medalist from the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. She has represented the United States in over 100 international matches.

Heather attended St. Ursula Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio where she lead her team to a state tournament victory. From there she earned a scholarship to the University of Florida where she quickly made her mark earning the Most Inspirational Player as a freshman. Heather would go on to lead the Gators to four consecutive SEC Titles and a NCAA National Title in 1998.

Off the field, Heather has served as a studio analyst for ABC/ESPN/ESPN2 as well as a sideline reporter for several MLS broadcasts and college football. She has also appeared in numerous Under Armour commercials. Heather is very involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and she holds her annual soccer camp for girls in Cincinnati.
