Congressman Gerlach: Success is more than just nice cars and a big house
Today, Ask, Listen, Learn headed to the northeast to Exton, PA to visit 500 8th graders at Lionville Middle School! Joining us for this great event, we had Congressman Jim Gerlach to help us raise awareness about the dangers of underage drinking.
Congressman Gerlach talked to the students about how to succeed in life. He reminded the students that success is measured in more than just nice cars or a big house. He shared that it’s what students do in life that makes them successful— and that starts with making good decisions.
He challenged the students to work hard in life, and that the middle schoolers should stay on the right track, and help their friends to do the same.
He encouraged the Lionville 8th graders to talk to teachers, coaches and their parents about how to say NO to underage drinking and YES to a healthy lifestyle. He reminded them to think twice because the decisions they make today will influence who they are tomorrow.
Thank you, Lionville Middle School and Congressman Gerlach, for another awesome Ask, Listen, Learn event!
