Empowering High Schoolers to be Responsible Teens
Responsibility.org is proud to launch Responsible Teens: Alcohol Education for High Schoolers, a new underage drinking prevention program designed to help high school students build the knowledge and skills needed to make responsible decisions about alcohol.
Building on more than 20 years of impact through Ask, Listen, Learn, Responsible Teens expands Responsibility.org’s prevention education efforts to reach students in grades 9-12. The program provides cost-free resources for families and educators to help young people stay alcohol-free and make choices that protect their health, safety, and future, while helping to continue the declining rates of underage drinking.

Alcohol Education Resources for Educators
Responsible Teens includes a series of lessons and classroom materials for high school educators to use with students. These skill-based classroom resources can be used as a comprehensive underage drinking and alcohol misuse prevention series or incorporated individually to complement existing substance use prevention resources. Covering a broad range of topics, these lessons prepare young people for life during and after high school. The resources give students the knowledge and skills to make responsible decisions about alcohol, including the decision not to drink.

Responsible Teens also provides parents and caregivers with a collection of informational resources that offer practical strategies to talk to their teens about the dangers of underage drinking.
