TCC Sprints Four the Cure

On Sept. 21, staff from The Century Council was proud to participate in the Washington, D.C. Four Seasons Hotel’s 33rd Annual Sprint Four The Cure. The event is a 5k walk/run to beat cancer with all proceeds benefiting the Washington Cancer Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This year the race featured more than 600 participants in addition to kids who ran a 100 yard dash. DJ Tommy McFly from Fresh FM provided music and inspiration. The Four Seasons Hotel provided a gourmet breakfast and massages for the runners.

It was a gorgeous day to run through the streets of Washington, D.C. and raise funds for a very worthy cause. This is The Century Council’s second year to participate in this fabulous event and we will be there again next year too. It’s part of our commitment to a healthy lifestyle and to supporting our community.
